Protect Your Patio Cushions From Dirt

5. Put the cushions under the sun and let it dry and always turn and change its direction so that both sides of the cushion will get dry. Patio cushions must be totally dry before placing it again on furniture to prevent mildews and moulds.
6. If your patio cushions had been damaged by mildews and moulds, create a solution with detergent, borax, and a quart of water. Soak the cushions to the solution you made for 15-20 minutes then after which scrub the cushions gently. Rinse it using a water hose to clean all sides. Dry you cushions under the heat of the sun.
7. If the coating of your cushion is wearing off you can spray Scotch Guard on all sides to protect the cushions' fabric material.
8. Sun cream or oil soak may damage your cushion and it is difficult to remove so be careful not to spoil any of these on your cushions or if you did wipe it off right away. Use a stain remover if you can't remove the stain.
